I just want to know if there’s any chance that the two companies even tried to talk about casting the same person as Quicksilver and if there’s any possibility that we’ll see Evan Peters in both DoFP AND Avengers 2.
I think that would be remarkable, to see a character be able to appear in both. And would give me a lot of hope for these companies to work together better in the future, like when the Oscorp building was almost put in Avengers.
When I swing in the spot
This is what I see
Every Avenger stops and they starin’ at me
I got web shooters on my wrists
And I ain’t afraid to thwip it thwip it thwip it
I’m Spidey and I know it

Kicking off Marvel NOW! this week is Uncanny Avengers #1!
I was not a fan of this summer’s wide spread event, Avengers vs X-Men. I read very little of it, enjoyed basically none of it, but I’m alright with following it’s aftermath just on the general idea of the event. I just have no interest in reading all of it. Still, it was a huge event and there is a lot for the characters to deal with now that it’s finished. Being that I didn’t read AvX I still really enjoyed this comic.
Every page is about AvX and that’s going to go on for some time I’m sure. I still see that it’s possible it’ll break away eventually and head more towards focusing on the goal of standing up for the mutants while still protecting the people… without talking about Scott and AvX every other sentence.
This is the first Avengers title without Bendis writing that I’ll be reading, but I do read and enjoy Remender’s Uncanny X-Force. Which is why I love the variant cover I reblogged a few minutes ago, with Deadpool’s list of ‘reasons I should be an Avenger’ and his X-Force costume in the trashcan. (Sam Humphries reboots Uncanny X-Force this January.)
